I put my old desktop to work for me. Instead of tossing it, I installed a ubuntu server, connected it to a small UPS and forwarded web traffic through my static IP. And yes, I understand this might not be the best or most reliable method of hosting websites, but it's free.. 🤷 ...and my ISP is fairly reliable.

ethanbrace.com is one of the sites I host on this old POS.
